Any benefit in using ocibindbyname for input to oracle stored_procs rather than just PHP vars?

Eyzen Medina, Laurence Veale,
Database cache!!! I think it's the best way.
When you use a PHP vars calling oracle with oci client, internally
oracle have to perform a querry statemnt with new threat.
If you use a ocibindbyname the querry it's stored in the DB cache and
all of threath returned by the first querry. All that oracle do it's
substituted the new values in parameters an execute a new querry saved
in DB cache.
In the db cache oracle stored the logon and permisions too.
I think it's the best benefit when you calling a repeat querry.
