were do i put my webpages(index)sothatwhen i type localhost my site pop up.

I am working with Xitami on Windows NT.  Other configurations may work 
differently.  Having said that, Xitami installed onto my C drive.  It 
did not install into the "Program Files" folder, as most apps do.  
Instead, it installed at the root level (C:\Xitami).  In there you will 
find a folder called "webpages" and that's the one that stores your 
pages and index.html file.
To put it into a task list, do the following:
  * On your desktop, double-click the My Computer icon.
  * Then double-click the C drive.
  * Then double-click the Xitami folder.
  * Then double-click the webpages folder.
  * Add your files there.
