Doh!...this answer is so straightforward, why are you even asking the
question? Or is there something else that should have gone with this?
The onChange event automatically occurs when a text box or textarea is
changed by the user. So to use it all you need do is use :
input type="text" name="textbox" onChange="alert('Changed text');">

Doh!... yourself. Try reading the question. How do you trigger it with
Javascript, not with your index finger.
You can do object.focus(), you can do object.click(), but I believe
the question is, is there some kind of object.change() function that
