Start off with getting ADSL line.
Then, Linux servsers to serve web pages(webhosting) and domain names. 
Some tools for customer relationships to automate the business. 
CPanel would be a good point.
Hardware is no big deal. Software is the main issue to handle high 
volume of customers/requests.
