How do you turn off the automatic index.html on Apache?

Under Linux:
Edit /etc/httpd/httpd.conf
Search for the string DirectoryIndex index.html
Change it to anything else.
If you want to turn it off, just write something like fbdsgjfgdsufgkuhas.html
