How to automatic download/upload a file from client machine to server with using FTP function

It's impossible. To invoke ftp session from client machine you have (at 
least) to use client-side language. PHP is server-side language - it 
cannot do anything with client's hard drive files. I don't think that 
client-side languages will allow you to do this either; just imagine - 
you visit a web-site and some of your files are taken from your hard-
drive without your knowledge. How would you feel? :)
