Can you control your Browsers Minimize/Maximize window functions from within JavaScript? If so how?

Well, This question is very common between web developers and web 
designers. You are looking for a javascript function which can 
minimize or maximize window
(Something like this: <a href="javascript:window.minimize">Minimize</a>
As I know It is impossible and you are not allowed to minimize or 
maximize your window using javascript becuase few months ago I look 
for the solution of this qestion on the internet but I faild to get a 
good answer. I have a suggestion for you and that is Forget It 
Completely !!!
