Error message: Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments...

Mar 6th, 2002 11:32
Fully Boelie,

Outlook 2002 blocks the access to a list of potentially unsafe
attachments. There is a way to work around this:
Start REGEDIT and navigate to the following subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\OFFICE\10.0\OUTLOOK\SECURITY
and create a new string value named Level1Remove
Now modify the newly created subkey and type in the first attachment
you want to unlock f.e. .exe (don't forget the dot in front of the
extension!), all other attachments you want to access need to be
separated by a semicolon (;) f.e. .exe;.doc;.xls
You can also download a more user friendly utility which does the aame
thing at www.slipstick.com
