How can I capture the url of a remote logged-in user ?

Mar 4th, 2000 23:03
Nathan Wallace, Shachi,

You cannot get the URL of the person visiting your site. Their URL is
private information like their email address that is not passed as part
of the request from the browser to the server.
You can get the referring URL. This is the URL that the visitor has
just come from. So if they click on a link from them.com, that URL is
available as the referer. It's in the global variable:
    $HTTP_REFERER
