Some hints (the cause-and-effect are not clear so just 'some hints'). I
assume you are using PHP4.
- Remember that the sessionvars are available NEXT timeyou enter the
session. You can go to a next page using the command: header
('location:nextpage.php');
- You should always start the session before any header is sent. You
should get a warning so perhaps the warnings are disabled
- Always send the session-id unless you check for cookies. If the
client has cookies disabled the session-id isn't sent. Perhaps the use
of session-id by cookies is disabled in your php.ini! Try sending it in
the URL like in 'nextpage.php?session_id=whatever'. There's a built-in
variable that does this for you.
