The answer is: because your webserver isn't parsing it. Your actual 
question should be 'why isn't my webserver parsing php?' and the answer 
requires way more info.
If you are trying to 'run' php with a browser only you should start 
reading something on the subject. Try to understand the difference 
between
c:\webroot\index.php
and
http://127.0.0.1/webroot/index.php
http://www.healthdothealth.com
http://www.healthxhealth.com
http://www.mesotheliomainmesothelioma.com
http://www.healthfirewall.com
http://www.flathealth.com
http://www.healthbodyguard.com
