How do you use spaces in Question-Mark queries with non-standard browsers like AIM Profiles?

You can use HTML equivalencies to work around this. Instead of a space, 
put "%20" (no quotes), e.g. instead of:
<a href="test this.htm">
Do this:
<a href="test%20this.html">
