One way is to run your POP3 server from "sslserver" instead of from "tcpserver". Another approach is to run a different POP server. If you are already running courier-imap and or courier-imap-ssl, adding courier-pop-ssl is a snap. Look for packages set up for your OS and for more information see http://www.courier-mta.org/imap/ (courier-pop and pop-ssl are part of the courier-imap source tree).
