How can i join two values to form a single value by using a seprator character?

I assume that you know how to create variable and assign values into 
it. You can try the following:
$Var2 = "Northen";
$Var3 = "Europe";
$Var1 = $Var2 . $Var3     
//$Var1 = "Northen Europe"
