Can I disable all browser bars: scroll, tool, links, address ... from the very first time?

Jan 27th, 2003 07:01
Klaus Bolwin, John Lennon,

you can disable the scroll bars by a CSS directive:
html {overflow:hidden;}
However in MSIE the scrollbars don't disapeare, the are grayed-out only,
whereas in Mozilla/Netscape they disapeare.
In Mozilla/Netscape 6.x+ you can hide all the other bars using Javascript:
window.locationbar.visible = false;
but I don't know no equivalent in MSIE.
