How to send a fax using php language

Jun 9th, 2005 07:07
Adam M, Tsun-Min Lin, Onno Benschop, Philip Olson,

Since PHP doesn't offer any built-in faxing functionality, an
alternative could be to use an internet faxing service that caters to
developers, such as Interfax, which enables faxing from scripts with no
installations. All that's required is to have one of the SOAP
implementations installed to fax through the Fax Web Service (see
http://www.interfax.net/en/dev/webservice/ ) with just a few lines of code.
As a developer, you can sign up for this service and send out unlimited
faxes to one designated fax number at no cost. The service is only paid
for once the client starts using it in operational mode.
There's a sample on how to fax from PHP (see
http://www.interfax.net/en/dev/webservice/samples/fax_php_sendfaxex.html
), and also how to retrieve the status of your fax in real time.
