Is there a way to avoid having to explicitly write 'document.domain' on every page?

Mar 28th, 2003 00:04
jsWalter, Jason Davey,

Nope.
As far as my research has shown, there is not a way around this.
I've spent over a year playing with this, found a solution to have a
single browser communicate across frames from different servers (same
domain), but not a way around 'document.domain'.
Sorry
Please, someone show me wrong.
Walter
