How can I launch iexplore.exe on client computer from a server?

I dont think  that you can launch a program from the server because of 
security reasons. Just think - if you could you could format the users 
hard drive.
You could try:
<%
Response.Redirect("file:///C:/Program%20Files/Internet%
20Explorer/IEXPLORE.EXE")
%>
or
<%
Server.Transfer("file:///C:/Program%20Files/Internet%
20Explorer/IEXPLORE.EXE")
%>
However you can put a hyperlink on the page that you visitor could 
click on e.g. <a target="_blank" href="file:///C:/Program%
20Files/Internet%20Explorer/IEXPLORE.EXE">internet explorer</a>, this 
would open it in a new window. The visitor would however have to click 
the open button on the file download alert box.
You could do it many other ways by just linking to it.
