ha mo, Jean-Bernard Valentaten, GM Hoover,
Since this is a javascript knowledgebase I suppose you want to know which javascript code to use. Due to the security restrictions of javascript it is not possible to execute any binary file through javascript code. It could be done using a java applet, but the applet needs to be signed to overcome the sandbox ( = javas' security manager). It might also be done using JScript which is Microsofts javascript extension, but this will only run with MS Internet Explorer. HTH, Jean P.S.: Of course it is not possible to execute a binary file situated on a server using any client-side script, applet etc. This can be done using serverside scripting but brings a lot of security issues so you need to be very careful. Sorry for the incorrect answer above. http://www.businessian.com http://www.computerstan.com http://www.financestan.com http://www.healthstan.com http://www.internetstan.com http://www.moneyenews.com http://www.technologystan.com http://www.zobab.com http://www.healthinhealth.com
