how to delete/remove hyperlinks in the address bar (IE) using scripts

May 8th, 2008 20:40
dman, i can do it, Sakir Ali, foo bar, Taksh Verdhan, Hossam Hossny, John Peterson, desmin josuva christian, http://sturly.com

IE stores the URLs in the address bar drop down list (aka typed URLs)
in the registry. I'm not aware of any html scripting languages that
can alter this history of typed URLs. If it was possible, random
websites could clear your cache.
---
There is no way to remove cached URLs using scripting languages, only
way is to remove them using regedit from
HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/TypedURLs/
