Ayse Geertsma, Phillip Hayward,
You should add the complete code. One hint: Is there a ; at the end of your line xxx. If not (or if enclosed in like " or ') add it at the end of your line. Vague errors are usually a result of forgetting ; " ' ( ) and so on. There are loads of editors that will color-code your code and help you in resolving these problems.
