I want to disable the horizontal scrollbar, & use images instead

In MSIE you can only disable/enable both. the horizontal and vertical
scrollbars simultanously using CSS:
overflow:hidden;
overflow:show;
or 
overflow:auto;
in Mozilla, you can enable the vertical scrollbar by:
overflow:-moz-scrollbars-vertical;
here the horizontal scrollbar is disabled, although the vertical is enabled.
