How to recomplie php from windows 2000

Ow! You should seriously consider using PHP Binaries instead of
recompiling to whole thing!!!! If you REALLY want to try it out, use
DJGPP (http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/). Keep in mind that some piece of
the code will need to be modified to fit the windows environment
(assuming you're using the standard linux source).
I found that Mingw (http://www.mingw.org/) works like a charm too :-P
