I would suggest that you look at this before going on. There is a lot of
documentation about how to take the next steps many of which are
described on this site. 
In a general sense, instead of trying to rewite a lot of pages, just
position text where it is best suited using layers and stylesheets. Set
the stylesheets to suit different resolutions. I believe this to be the
quickest and easiest method to achieve a good outcome, but suit yourself.
