A source can be a website, a page in a book, another person, or any other resource you have used in answering a question. You should refer to whatever source you use in answering the question. This is particularly important if you choose to quote a source, or if you employ close paraphrasing. If you don't use a source, like your own knowledge, just leave it empty.
