how can we read a pda document with .prc extension in windows95/98?

.prc files are Palm program files, akin to .exe files on MS operating 
systems.  You can't really "view" them directly on a PC.  The best bet 
is to find a friend with a Palm/HandSpring/TRG/IBM Workpad PDA.
If you're desperate, you can get the Palm emulator for PC (see 
http://www.palm.com/, in the developer section).  However, to use it, 
you'll need a ROM, which usually means you need a physical Palm PDA.  
You can also find them on the net, but those are illegal unless you own 
a license to the exact version of the ROM you're downloading.
