How do I geting PHP to work with oracle in a Linux ?

When you finish installing Oracle in a Linux server you have to compile 
PHP
Download the source code form www.php.net
#tar zxvf php-x.x.x.tar.gz
#cd php-x.x.x
Use the configure parameter --with-oci8 to include oci functions
./configure --with-oci8=$ORACLE_HOME --with-
apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs ...
make
make install
