Deepak Sharma, Mark Snowdon, Kenan Bektas, Begin ner,
I have never tried that don't think so. Because Oracle threads may run into race-conditions, it would not be a good idea... -------------------------------- Q: Is there a better solution ? Why do you want to do this ? What platform/OS ? I have run multiple versions of oracle on the same unix box without any problems. Also multiple copies of the same version. Is there a better way ? depends why you are doing it. Mark -------------------------------- I think Yes, we can install Oracle 8i & Oracle 9i on same machines. We have to use different home directories for both.
