Can I install multiple Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers (IEs) on my Windows machine??
How do I install more than one instances of Internet Explorer on the same Windows OS?

Almost all non-IE browsers -- Opera, Firebird, Mozilla etc -- allow
separate versions to be installed on the same machine and OS.
Only Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) disallows this, and when you
"update" or "patch" an IE installation with those never-ending service
packs, it always overwrites the old IE.
HOWEVER, Joe Maddalone stumbled upon a way to get around this and have
more than one MSIE installations on the same Windows box.
