How to save some disk space in Windows XP?

There are two ways I know to save some disk space in Windows XP. First 
one is turning off system restore which I for one dont suggest, as in 
case of system failure you wouldnt be able to restore your system. The 
second way to save some disk space is by removing the hibernation 
file, 
there should no be risk in the second way and I highly suggest this in 
system with large amount of RAMs.
1) Turning off System Restore:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Double-click on System.
- lick the System Restore tab.
- Check "Turn off System Restore on all drives".
- Hit Apply.
- You may now delete the System Volume Information folder.
2) Removing the Hibernation file:
If you have a hidden file on the root directory of your drive called 
hiberfil.sys, hibernation is enabled. To remove that file:
Go to Control Panel, select Performance and Maintenance, Power 
Options, 
Hibernate tab, and uncheck the Enable hibernation box.
