What is that strange n used in Spanish?

Jul 8th, 2008 05:02
Joe jack, LM Silva,

The ņ (called "eņe") is a unique Spanish character. Its approximate
pronuncitation is the "ni" in "onion", though stronger somehow. It's
used in words such as:
Maņana ("tomorrow", "morning", sometimes "future")
Niņo (boy, child)
Niņa (girl, child)
Aņo (year)
Daņo (damage)
Daņar (to damage)
