Disallow duplicate questions

Philip Olson,

When someone submits a question the server takes minutes before 
showing the user the question often resulting in the impatient user 
(that's used to immediate results) to submit again... and again... and 
again... until multiple [identical] questions result.  Granted these 
duplicates are easy (well it's actually kind of time consuming!) to 
delete but it's a pain and a problem that shouldn't exist.  Please 
disallow users to submit the same question over and over again.
Possible solutions:
a) Compare the title and disallow identical titles
b) Insert a unique id as a hidden form element and instead compare that
c) Perhaps also include a client-side solution via JavaScript
d) Some other solution
In the end faqts.com would greatly benefit from this.
