WebDAV doesnt support japanese file/folder names

Hi all, 
We are developing DAV application in EJB & we are deploying it on 
WebSphere application server (Linux server), the backend is DB2. 
We are able to connect to DAV application using Windows Explorer 
(Windows 2000 SP4, japanese OS) & DAVExplorer but when we try to make a 
folder with 
Japanese name or if we try to upload file with Japanese name, the 
folder/file name is getting garbage. 
I've 2 queries, 
1. Does Windows Explorer supports japanese for Web Folder (if not is 
there any patch available to solve this problem)? 
2. How can i configure mod_encoding on WebSphere to resolve this 
problem?
