How do i connect php5 to mysql4? I get "Class 'mysqli' not found" in the apache error log?

If you want to use the mysqli extension, you must compile it into your
PHP.  Read the manual:
  http://www.php.net/mysqli
Note it requires at least MySQL 4.1, so, anything less (MySQL 4.0.x) you
will use the mysql extension.  Either way you must compile extensions
into your PHP or Windows users of course include the appropriate DLL
files.  The manual talks about all of this.
