ha mo, Colin Fraser, Tarun,
I am going to stick my neck out here a bit and make one of those general statements without having enough information from the question to make such a statement. The most frequent cause of this error is that in your code you are doping something that is supported in Netscape 6+ but not in earlier versions. Check your code and make sure that is is actually compatible for earlier versions of Netscape. I know the company was claiming that their v4.x browsers were fully compliant, but this was not the case. Unfortunately, most problems came from "undocumented features", those little inconsistencies that happen when trying to write xbrowser scripts. There was also a huge leap from 4.x to 6.x to 7.x when utilising Javascript, and this may be the cause of your problem.
