Unless there is additional functionality in Javascript I am not aware
of (which is possible) you cannot do anything like this. Javascript was
essentially designed as a client-side tool with the ideas that security
is a primary consideration. What you are asking here goes beyond that.
Check out the PHP FAQTS pages, they may be able to help here.
The best you can do is to send the message as a HTTP GET request. For
example change the URL of a hidden image
(document.getElementById('signal').src="http://remotehost:port/signal?par1=val1&par2=val2
etc.
The demon listening on the port should be able to understand HTTP
requests at least in the most basic range and process them to extract
data. Ability to reply with some kind of error/redirect would be wise too.
