How can I make a window invisible using javascript. I have used window.resizeTo(0, 0) but no use

No sure if it can be done at all using javascript. You might try 
setting the location of the window to outside the screen (10000 pixels 
or 
so) if you must retain the window in memory. 
So window not visible = Invisible :)
What's the desired application of the whole scnario? We might be able 
to help better.
