Getting the following error when validating an EDI Schema: error BEC2004: XSD2EDI failed to convert XSD: Compiling repository failed

1. Make sure "Biztalk Base EDI Service" is started (go to Admin 
Tools/Services). You may have to right click/properties ad change from 
disabled to manual, then right-click and start the service (or you can 
just automatically start the service when computer boots). 
2. Add your userid (the one you are running Visual Studio under) 
to “EDI Subsystem Group”. This should fix the schema validation 
problem. The group should also have full access to the BiztalkEDIDB 
database (validate this in SQL Server Enterprise Manager, select the 
database and expand the "Users").
