Steps: Overview:
1. -Open an MSDOS box
2. -Type the command
mysqladmin shutdown
3. -To check if it really is shutdown
1. -Open Microsoft Windows TaskManager
1. -Right click on Windows taskbar
1. -Select from list 'Task Manager'
2. -You should now see that the
entry 'mysqld-nt.exe' is removed
from the list of running processes
