Paperport: Screen: Step: How to show what you mean in steps in the 
screens? [support / stack / pdf]

When you want to explain to somebody else (e.g. support) what you mean,
(with regard to your computer) you could show this in a series of
screenshots.

By adding text, color highlighting, and drawing lines or arrows you
can further show what you mean.

Then you send it as 1 (pdf) document.

Steps: Overview:
 1. -Create a serie of printscreens
     of what you want to show
     1. Get the current screen
        1. Press <Print screen>
           to get a snapshot of the whole screen
        -- or --
        1. Press <Alt><Print screen> for a snapshot of the
           currently active window
     2. Goto Paperport
     3. Goto the folder of your interest
     4. Select the right pane, by left clicking on it
     5. Paste (e.g. using <CTRL><V>) the current
        screen snapshot
     6. Repeat this steps for all the screens
        of interest
 2. -Put all this screens into 1 document
     by stacking this screens
     1. Select all the screens of interest in Paperport
        1. Keep <CTRL> pressed while left clicking one after
           another on the screen of interest
     2. -Select from menu option 'Stack'
     3. -This will collect all this screen into
         1 document
         1. You can send it e.g. as 1 PDF file
            as an attachment
            1. -Right click on the document
            2. -Select from list 'Save as...'
            3. -Select 'PDF' from list 'Save as type'
 3. -Then edit this screens in Paperport
     1. Select the document
     2. Click on 'desktop' icon on the left top of the screen
     3. Use the following options (e.g. writing
        text, highlighting and drawing lines)
        to show clearly on the screens what you mean
        1. Write text
           1. Possibly change
              1. font
              2. color
              3. size
              by right clicking on the 'A' icon
              (in the left pane)
           2. Click the 'A' icon in the left pane
           3. Write your text
        2. Highlight the area of interest
           1. Possibly change t
              1. color
              by right clicking on the first yellow marker pen icon
              (in the left pane)
           2. Click the first yellow marker
              pen icon (in the left pane)
           3. Highlight a rectangular area of
              interest on the screen
        3. Draw lines to the area of interest
           1. Possibly change
              1. color
              2. line size
              by right clicking on the second yellow marker pen icon
              (in the left pane)
           2. Click the second yellow marker
              pen icon (in the left pane)
           3. Draw a line (e.g. create an arrow)
              between for example your written text
              and the highlighted area of interest on the screen
 4. -Possibly send the resulting (PDF) document via e-mail
     1. Drag and drop the document on the email icon on the Paperport
        taskbar
        1. This will open your e-mail client
           (e.g. Microsoft Outlook Express, or Lotus Notes)
           with that document attached
        2. Fill in the usual information
        3. Send your e-mail
