I use a /cgi-bin/ad.pl for displaying rotating banners at the top of my html files. How can I insert the output of this cgi in an "included" file ?

Here are a couple ways to do it :
  <?php
    echo @join (@file ('http://lsyg.com'),'') 
  ?>
with you.com of course being your domain.  Also, you can try :
  <?php
    virtual('/cgi-bin/ad.pl');
  ?>
  http://www.php.net/manual/function.virtual.php
