Abolfazl Shirazi : Well I dont know what do you exactly mean. Readonly attribute for an element means that the user can't change that element value. Usually used in textboxes. Every select menu is readonly in normal mode and no one can change that element BUT you can make it disable very easy. Try it: <!-- Begin --> <html> <head> <title>Untitled Page</title> </head> <body bgcolor="#ffffff"> <button onclick="MyMenu.disabled='disabled'">Make the select below disable</button> <p> <select name="MyMenu" size="5"> <option value="">Abolfazl Shirazi</option> <option value="">Javscript</option> <option value="">Computer</option> <option value="">Internet</option> </select> </body> </html> <!-- End --> I hope that you get your answer but if you dont get it, Ask more clearly again !!!
