Oxford has plenty to see and do. A good resource for what is happening there is http://www.dailyinfo.co.uk/. This is a famous University town, and for information about the Oxford University start with http://www.ox.ac.uk/. Many of the colleges are open to the public to view, though the more famous ones tend to charge. Other activities include punting on the River Cherwell or simply resting in one of the parks. Oxford was also home to both J.R.Tolkein (http://www.tolkiensociety.org/) - author of Lord of the Rings trilogy, and C.S.Lewis (http://www.cslewis.org/). Panoramic Earth has an interactive map of Oxford with panoramic images of many of the buildings of interest on http://www.panoramicearth.com/index.php?europe/england/oxford Travel Worldwide http://indiantravelling.blogspot.com http://sightseeingdestinations.blogspot.com
