How do I code a button that changes the value of a PHP variable?

Hello,
 It simple to change a value of php variable using a button. i doubt
this is 
the right thing you needs. Anyway inorder to change a value just call a php 
page or php function. For that just call them in the button click event
or if 
it is a submit button then make the action to the php page. If you want to 
return the same page after changing the value you can use a redirect method.
