Cannot get power point presentation to load in popup window.. pls HELP!!!

Eric,
     If PowerPoint is *not* installed on the user's computer then 
there is nothing you can do about it.  If PowerPoint *is* installed on 
the user's computer then either of the following methods should work 
just fine.
     HTML method:
<a href="mypresentation.ppt" target="_blank">My PP Presentation</a>
     The equivalent JavaScript method:
window.open("mypresentation.ppt", "_blank", "...features...");
