Is it advisable to carry a laptop on a holiday?

Hi,
Ideally, a laptop should not be taken on a holiday. Here’s why
It has extra weight. 
There is a possibility of a robbery.
There can be plugging problems in different countries.
Travel insurance does not include laptops. 
Why carry office work on a holiday?
