Easysoft have added a PHP tuorial to their wed site with code examples
for ODBC access.
This doesn't exactly help you - it just points you to the PHP manual
which just explains the syntax with no code examples.
You can use an ODBC connection to your Access database.
However ODBC in my experience is somewhat clunky and is not really very
useful in large applications.
On non-windows platforms, the Easysoft ODBC-ODBC Bridge provides direct
access to MS Access and any other ODBC enabled databases for PHP
developers.
We have used Access and exported the database as a text-only file, each
field separated by a comma. This can then be extracted line by line,
each field split (by scanning for commas) etc. The data from each field
can then be applied however you want. (I've even coded a search button
from the database.) Why didn't I use MySQL? Because we're not allowed
to use it on our server. I coded everything by hand, but it works!
