Invoice being deleted when check out using SSL feature. How do I resolve it this problem?

This usually happens when your SSL site is a different domain name.
Are shoppers going from www.yourstore.com to secure.yourstore.com (or
similar)? You're losing the invoice because the session cookie isn't
being sent. If you're still in the same top-level domain
(yourstore.com), you can get this to work. If you're moving to another
domain, then you'll have to turn off cookies, at least for the checkout
process.
