You should try to apply for a Student Visa, and not a Tourist Visa to
India. But this is not compulsory. As the whole process may take time,
the application for visa must be submitted at the Indian Embassy in your
country immediately after you get accepted. If required, we do provide
you with a letter addressing the Indian embassy in your country to make
the visa process faster for you.
