As long as your allergy has never put you in hospital or required you to take cortisone tablets, taking an allergy kit with you should be enough. A standard allergy kit which has antihistamines, cortisone cream and an asthma inhaler (if appropriate) may be all you need. If you have had a serious allergy reaction in the past, your emergency kit should also contain adrenaline by injection.
